online status message for expedite passport

What kind of status message do you get online?
So far all I see is a generic message explaining the process and my application locator number

Will this message get updated as my passport moves along the process?

What other messages will I see as my passport progresses?

They will update the message only after they are done processing. In my case, the message got updated a day after the passport was actually shipped.
