online status inquiry


Webaddress has been relayed one more layer, so the java and excel inquiry programs need to be adjusted accordingly. Please gurus.
 
I just checked the immigration.gov website. You can create a "customer" account and add case numbers to the profile. Email notice can be turned on. If it works as they claimed, there is no need to set up any scripts!
 
I just did that. Wana to know if this really work, I mean do they really send you email while any change has been detected ? Anyhow it's good to know this new feature.
 
If you have a pending approval, please register. Only then will we know if it works.

more than one email...............

I wonder if you can add extra email addres by adding the punctuation ; just like in outlook. Anybody knows? Thanks.

I just registered.

They say that they'll send you e-mail even if you're status (or on-line message) did NOT change.

It seems if your file has been "touched", they'll send you e-mail even if your status did NOT change.

I guess, the only way we can tell how this new system will work is to have input from those who have already registered.

Not quite.

You may receive an email notification of your case being updated, without the status of the case changing. This is due to internal USCIS processing being performed on your case.

You may get an email if your case is processed. But you may not get an email each time your case is looked at. Do not worry if you do not get an email until your application is approved.

You can also add your EAD and AP applications.

I registered too. Since I just responsed to an EAD RFE, I expect a status change fairly soon. Let's see if it works. Will keep you guys posted.

Probably you want to creat two accounts for two email addresses.

it should send me something in the next two weeks if it works. My 3rd EAD application was received on March 10.
 
I have difficulty in registering. When I click the option to Register, I get

To register as an applicant customer click here.

when click, I get a blank screen with Terms and Conditions on top and Date and Time at bottom.

Please help me.
 
longGC, you need to turn off the pop-up stopper for your browser.
There is a pop-up window with the terms and conditions which you need to click "accept" then the window disappears and the main window would allow you to proceed.

I have same problem, and I do have pop-window stopper in effective, I'll try to register.

King1999, I met the same problem again even I stopped the pop-up stopper. There is still a blank screen with term and conditions on the top. nothing else. By the way, I use Mac not PC, does it matter to register? Thanks

You also need to turn on JavaScript for your browser.
I don't think MAC or PC makes a difference, as long as your browser supports JavaScript and pop-up windows.

I do turn on JavaScript as always, still can't register, do I need restart my computer after stopping pop-up stopper? I tried both IE and Safari, they both don't work.

It really works, just received a notice on a RFE for my EAD.

I am unable to unblock opo-up. COuld anyone tell me how to do it?

I am using Windows XP Pro with IE v 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1.020828-1920
