online status and phone status (San Francisco)

I submitted N-400 to CSC in Nov 2003. I checked online status on the web and it always has the same info (like received date). However I check the phone status today by calling 800 customer hotline and the system can't find my status. (I never checked phone status before though).

Is there anyone with the same experience ? Does it mean something ? like my file transfer to local office ? (I am in san francisco area). Actually I called 800 number and talked to someone. She told me that she doesn't know my file is transfered or not. She just simply does not have that information. However someone in this forum is able to manage to get this information from 800 number. Is there any second level officer in 800 hotline available that I can get more info ?

Anyone in oakland get interview letter recently ?

According to some posting here, online status will never disappear after April.

Hi there,

My PD in Los Angeles is Oct 31 2003. I had my interview end of June. My online status never changed and there was never a record in the phone system.

From what I heard it's a common experience and I wouldn't worry. From what I see on USCIS web site, you should be getting interview letter soon. By the way, how did you find out that your name check cleared?

wow i am amazed that ur name check cleared before u even went for fingerprints.i dont get this.there are people here whos name checks are pending even after interview and total time waiting is 15 months and some are waiting for name check for even 2 years.

thats good news.u should be relaxed u wont have any issues after interview, like some ppl are not getting there oaths because of name checks, imagine, u are all done but cant get done. that is most frustrated wait of this process.

so ur post gives me idea that USCIS sends in name check request to FBI for namr check even before fingerprints...hmmmmm ...
