online, phone vs call ins

I recieved the written decision for EAD last week by mail ( INS sent it on June 24, 2003). But till now the line and they phone system are still not updata . I call BCIS, their comput system is not updata too. After I ask why, the answer is their information is the same as online, no any personal information in their system (1-800-phone location), in other word call them= check online by ourself. Is this ture? Any comments?
 
I have the same issue to.
I got my approval for I140 in March, and even till this date the online and the phone system says :
"Your I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER was received on December 31, 2002. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 150 and 180 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete."

So now i don't even bother checking it out for my AP, EAD and 485. I searched lot of forums, and I have seen lot more people have the same issue.
