I am a frequent user of this forum and we (myself and my wife) would like to provide the status of our cases. The USCIS online status says,

"The case has been approved. On January 22, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days .........."

We wish this message will provide lot of hopes for those waiting for a long time (like us).. We wish best of luck for all you. Also, we would like to thank all of you for the courageous support that you provided through this forum.

Timeline:

Process Started: May 99
LC Mar 00 (EB2/RIR/NC)
140 Approved May 01
485 RD July 01
485 ND 10Sep01
Ist FP 13 May 03
2nd FP 1 July 03 (just myself. My wife did not get a request)
3 EADs, 2 APs (My wife's 2nd AP application still pending -- ND 22nd May 2003. Got an RFE for 140)
We did not contact any congressman/senators
NO RFE for 485
