Is this a standard message, or will this mean that i will get an approval soon.

On MMDDYYY, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.

Its a standard message. Like lots of others on this forum, my wife and I both have that message on our 485 case.

However, if you use the IVR service then the message will likely say a " blah blah written decision blah blah within 60 days". So it looks like an decision (hopefully an approval) could be soon.

So far we've been waiting nearly 30 days since they received the RFE. If USCIS live up to the 60 day period we should hear something by the end of this month... but its also possible its a standard message with no real meaning behind it and we'll be waiting until we involve our local congressman or senator.
 
waiting for more than 120 days

yes its a standard msg. After 60 days when we called they told us to wait another 30 days. we have been waiting for more than 120 days now. today i will call again to ncsc.
