online case updated again????

Getting an LUD just means someone has "touched" your file or updated something on your case, looked at it, whatever; it could be anything. See the thread appropriately entitled "An LUD a Day".. for other experiences.

Your case status may or may not change with an LUD. It says that on the USCIS page where you check your case status. Take it as a good sign that your case is at least "moving", sort of... ;)

This is actually displayed on the USCIS website under your case files:

* Note on "Last Updated" date:
Your case may have a new "Last Updated" date and you may receive an Email Notification of your case being updated, without the status of the case changing. This is due to internal USCIS processing being performed on your Case. This will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date, but may not result in a different status message.

Take it as a good omen that someone has at least looked at your file, but try not to get too excited until they actually change the text. I know its hard, we all get excited when we see LUD's. But it will drive you crazy wondering what exactly is going on until they actually inform you.

Poohsmum , This is very normal . please do not worry !!!!!

It is normal to get several LUD’s without any change in information on the LUD online. /Every time your case is processed or every time the I/O works on your case, you get an LUD. This is merely for internal processing and this also is a tracking tool for USCIS directors to see the efficiency of their staff on their payroll.

USCIS politics or justification to be on payroll should sum this up

Hope this answers your question as I had an LUD everyday for 15 days till my interview.
