Here is the deal. I checked my receipt for my N-400 Tampa DO and there are 2 different SSC* numbers. One is on top, and is the same number that I got on my Fingerprint notice. And a different number on the bottom.
After cheking the case status for the number that is on top of the receipt as well as on the fingerprint notice it says that it was last updated Early August.
Although I had my fingerprint taken late October and I am currently waiting for my interview letter.
The case status also says that your Your N400 APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was received on August XX, 2005. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 750 and 999 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.
When I go to check the other SSC number that ONLY appears at the bottom on my receipt notice it says that the case last updated 3 weeks ago. And it also says that The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct.
What does that mean? Which number is correct? I would assume that the number that appears on my both Application and fingerprint notice is more correct?
Maybe the interview letter got lost in the mail? Could that be the case?
