Online Case Status Vs Real Status!!

Hi guys/gals,
Wondering if any of you are in a similar situation or if you have any advice. I am kinda sick of checking my case status every couple of hours. So, here is the situation, my apologies to those who may have read the first bit on some other thread..
My DO is Charlotte, NC and my timelines are listed in the signature below…

So, I go to the family based interview on Feb-23. Everything goes fine, the interviewer is very nice, does not ask any questions (except for some paperwork) and says that everything is okay but he can’t approve due to pending namecheck. However, he does approve the I-130.

I check the online status and absurdly enough, it says that the “Interview has been cancelled…”
I call up the customer service…she is pretty useless and pretty much asks me what I wanted to do??? Anyway, took infopass apt and called up the customer service the next day again with the hope that somebody more knowledgeable would be at the other end…she is very nice but equally confused as to why the status would show that. She says not to worry and it might be a glitch.
Despite her assurance, I keep the infopass appointment and the lady over there checked with the guy who took the interview and said “I don’t know why the status is showing that…” Nice folks but not very helpful to me.

We received the I-130 approval notice through mail. However, the online status still shows that the “We received you application blah blah blah taking 30 to 90 days blah blah…”!!

485 status still shows that the appointment was cancelled…

Guys it has been more than a month and was wondering if any of you had a similar experience. I will set up another appointment through infopass…but other than that any advice or thoughts???

Thanks in advance!

That happened before and I think that you are getting stress over the online status, take a break dear.

Since you must wait for your name check, that can take awhile. For name check stuff your I-485 status does not change. In your case, shows a wrong message. The people at the DO can't have a clue why shows that since they are not the one who rules that part. So my advice since other people had the same experience even after their AOS approval, is to don't look at it for a period of time. You should be fine and just be in contact with your DO after a month to see if you have a result for your FBI name check.

Good luck,

My aunt applied for I-765, she got confirmation that application is received, I checked online status on uscis.gov, but receipt number shows not found or not valid. However, she also got her Finger Print app. and got fp done. and still no status online, still says not found! hopefully it's just error online as she got fp done and we receiving all mails.

Yes is a normal error...many people in the entire process one of their application keep with the same message all the way!
Most of the time at the beginning you even won't found your receipts after a month others found out right away....who knows how they update it.
