Online Case Status - More surprises

My I-485 was filed in October of 2002. Got my first FP notice sheduled for January 2003. My online message had not changed till today. The status always read 'Finger printing notice has been sent Dec 2002, if 14 days have passed.....'.

I recently got my 2nd FP done and today I see a message change stating that they received my First FP results in Jan 03 !!!!

I would have thought it would say something about my 2nd FP results being received.

Anyways, I am not loosing my sleep over this, thought I would share it with you folks, just so that we are aware of all the possible screwups that happen on the online status system.

Same happened to one of my friend who did his first FP in Feb 2003. He had to go for second in July 2004 and after few days got similar message. His case is still pending with ND Dec 2002.
 
I think you should be fine. Doing FP2 is good progress. If this still bothers you, try calling and get it corrected.
