Online/AVM Frequency of status change.

Does anyone know how frequently the status of Online/AVM change? Somebody mentioned that Online changes every night at 11. Meaning, once a day staus inquiry to Online/AVM will suffice to know the status. Please correct me if I am wrong and share your experiences.
