I am in need to find out an agency in Atlanta who can process the US passport in one to two days. I am looking for a reliable agency so that I can plan ahead other activities which depend on the passport.

Does anyone has know and/or used this kind of agency before? Please provide the infomation about this agency.

Please help.

Passport agency

Hidimba,

Here's a link that Ila and Asafbu provided some time back in Atlanta.

I have talked to them about an expedited passport for my husband and they promised a 2-day guaranteed turnaround, if you get to their office by 3pm. So, if you went in today, you could have your passport by day after tomorrow morning. We could not use this service, because my husband's interview did not happen on the scheduled date.

I believe Ila used this service. They are on GA 400 at exit 6. Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I called them they told that they can do it but they can't guarantee 100%. They also didn't talk about early appointment.

btw did your husband's interview got reschedule by uscis? or he just postponed himself?

Hidimba,

My husband's interview got rescheduled by INS on the day of the interview, because the officer said that his file did not yet arrive at the DO. This was on Dec.6th, we still have not heard back from them about the new Interview date.

BTW, I am sure you are aware that you would need either a visa/PIO card to travel to India after you get your US passport.

Timelines please

Dear Hidimba/others,

I had my citizenship interview passed early this month (jan/06), in Atlanta. Due to my luck (bad) I could not get the oath on the same day or the next day, I was the last candidate to be interviewd and the person who schedules the oath for next day had already closed his duties. So, either you or anyone have experiences as to when and how soon they will send me the schedule for the oath and how long it takes to get the letter & how long for the ceremony. I appreciate all your responses.
Thx

Hi Fellow_immig

I am kinda in the same boat. Had my interview on Jan 17 2006, at 1:25pm. By the time they called me in it was 2:30pm (hence too late for same day oath). I passed the interview, and the Officer gave me the N-652 indicating I have passed the test, and that I would be recieving my notice from INS with regards to oath time and place.

I also sent a follow-up letter to the Officer thanking her for the interview, and also asked her when i should expect my oath letter in the mail.

I will keep you posted

Dear Shahidsan,

Thanks for your reply, I appreciate if you keep me posted when you find out about oath dates. By the way, I am curious to know how did you able to send a thank you note to the offcials.
Thx

Hi Fellow_immg

Bascially when you are done with your interview, the Officer hands u the N-652 form stating the results of the interview. On that form the Officer has their name. I simply made a simple letter to the Officer's attention, and mailed it to the Atlanta DO local address. Hope that answers your question
