Dear Friends, please answer this:

1. Can a CANADIAN permanent resident (Indian Citizen) come to US for visit, without a US visa?

2. Can a US permenent resident (Indian Citizen) come to Canada for visit, without a Canadian visa?

--> No idea.

2. Can a US permenent resident (Indian Citizen) come to Canada for visit, without a Canadian visa?
--> Yes. Green Card(plastic card) is enough at both borders. But It is recommended to keep passport in bag, in case, they want to see.

NO MORE. WAS POSSIBLE UPTO A YEAR AGO, THEN LAW WAS CHANGED.

2. Can a US permenent resident (Indian Citizen) come to Canada for visit, without a Canadian visa?
YES.

Isn't that unfair for the Canadian permanent residents? Why is that rule?
 
I think they are right. Don't be surprise soon They might put some restriction for Canadian citizen also entering US b'cas lot of new immigrant after obtainig Canadian Citizenship in 3 yrs get into US and don;t go back ..that is happening right now.
 
Being a canadian CItizen one can easily work in US under NAFTA . Sothere's nothing illegle init . If a canadian citizen can get a job in US , then at port of entry only offer letter is required.

But you are correct ..US GC should also be required to get visa to enter Canada in response.
