Guys,
My dates for I-485 are as follows :
RD - 10/25/2001
ND - 12/03/2001
EAD- 12/15/2001
AP - 01/15/2002
FP Call - requested to appear on April 5th, 2002 at Newark, NJ - EB3 India
I am still single and am planning to visit India immediately after appearing for FP, get married and get my wife here - all the while parying that my application doesnt get approved before I return. One of my friends was mentioning that the 485 approval doesnt have anything to do with FP getting collected, meaning they can approve the case without the FP too....
Is this true ? Has anybody faced such a situation ???
