when did the RD august 2001 started, i think june 2002.

As you know not all aug 2001's are done yet, almost alll. we can say june 2001 is done....

With this rate, november 2001 (assuming it is started ) it will complete "almost" 6 mouths from now.

Poor December RD's should wait 7 mouths up to a 12 mouths for completion...

just wanted post this cause everybody is worrying about when RD /mounth starts not when it completes

strongly disagree

If you take into consideration the fact that most of the applications was during June, July, Aug, Sept,, your hypothesis could be wrong. I believe then the priority dates became current. After Oct. the application load decreased substantially. And we all know why.
My guess is the later applicants will get theirs approved in less time as there are hardly any applicants now.

Then again,,, these are all assumptions, hypothesis--- no absolutes

yes but the #of approvals per day was much higher for the june/july/aug applications.

So NoofApplications/Approval rate per day may remain constant ..

are you guys trying to apply logic to INS working?

Here's a scoop. While all Nov and many Oct applicants(even september) are waiting, a friend of mine who filed his 485 in Dec '01, got his approval, got stamped and just received the card this week.

February '03 guys EAD renewals are approved while Dec/Jan guys are still waiting.

Why, the guys who filed 140 5 months after i did have 485 RDs < than me.

With all of the ever-changing pressures from HQs, Attorney General, internal memos, etc .. there's never been a logic in how the INS operates :)

Let's hope that the new BCIS under DHS is better..

AwaitingApproval,
I totally agree with you. ...there is no point applying logic to INS processing...
