Hi Guys,

This is my turn, my wife and I got our FP notices yesterday and interestingly the FP appt. is on 02/028 (almost after a month and half) and I would like to go early in a week or two. What docs. I need to take there ? Are there any issues if we go early ?

I called the IIO a couple of times after X-mas eve and I think one of them clicked. I think we need to try again and again unitil we get FP.

Hey Why-R2,

Congratulations on your FP notice! All you need to take for your FP process is the FP notice, passport and driver's license. You'll be asked to fill out a small 1-page form. Once that's filled out, you'll be finger printed. You'll also have a chance to check if all the information they have on your case is correct.

I guess it won't be a problem to go earlier than 02/28. Go to the ASC sometime around 2 PM (when you think the crowd might be less). Good luck!

I will try again in a few days or if I hear from someone on a particular day if they are successful with a nice IIO.

When I called last wednesday , she said that didn't I call on Monday too (I had called on monday:D ) , so they do keep track and I was put under a spot for that. SO I thought I will wait a few days and try again. After all, that's all we can do right:rolleyes:

When I called on last Friday that the IIO was very nasty and she also told me that I called previous Friday about the same stuff, I just told her that the previous IIO took my details and wanted to check some thing and was asked me to give me a call after a week (this is partially true and just to continue the conversation with her), so use those tactics and I 'm pretty sure it all depends on their mood and nothing else.

BTW, one of my friend's attorney mentioned to him that TSC is taking every effort to clear the May - Nov FP notices as quickly as possible and he mentioned the date was Jan 31st. This may give a ray of hope. But as I menitoned by a lot of folks it might be better to call them instead of trusting their words

Do you mean Jan 31st of 2003. Man that would be great news for us all if it is true.

They actually wasted 3 months in our case (last year when they changed their Mail room contractors ).

Our 485 was actually filed on the 6th. of June but the ND / RD is 24th August. So those 3 months are wasted.

I hope they get a clue soon and start moving .......
