"My wife collected her EAD from INS San Jose on Wednesday, 4th Dec'02 exactly after 90 days of filing I-765. Absolutely no problem. Joined the queue at 9AM and came out from the building at 10:45AM. Just carry copy of I-485 and I-765 filing receipts. Download a I-765 form and fill it before you go there. No fee is required. We were told Wednesday is the best day of the week to visit INS. Monday and Friday are the worst - too many people. Free parking is available behind INS building."
