One more H1B Transfer Question

Hi, I was on a H1B till September with company A. I joined Company B in October and applied for H1B Transfer. My application reached Texas service center on 22nd Oct... But the status has not changed since... When I check Texas Centers processing dates.

I129 has two days(Jan 20th 04 and Aug 11th 03) listed. Does my application belong to any of those? If so Which one do I belong?? I am confused as people say that H1B transfer is nothing but a new application. In that case I should belong to Jan 20th 04.. then my application status should have changed... I think I dont belong to 11th Aug as it is for extension of status... and I am not applying for extension.... My employer is pretty cool about it and I am pretty worried about it as it is more than 150 days..

If my application belongs to Aug 11th then I want my employer to apply for premium processing....

What are these dates listed as in I129? Start date? Why did you have 2 start dates?
Rely on the reciptnotice.It will have a receipt date and a notice date. Processing time is always Notice date + 30 days.

The two days I mentioned were "processing the applications received on" dates from USCIS.

I was notified that this kind of case is taking between 120 and 180 days and its 150 days past.

I have one more question. Is it fine or allowed to change the company before I get my H1B? I was on H1B and changed my job about 6 months back and applied for H1B transfer...I did not get it till now... Can I change job before I get my H1B or do I need to wait till I get my H1B?

Can I do a H1 transfer on H1 transfer? I am waiting for H1B transfer from my current employer. However I feel I am being over exploited and I dont want to continue here. I want to change to a better job. Its almost 6 months and I haven't received my transfer. What Shall I do? Shall I wait till I get my H1B or Shall I do a transfer. My old employer did not cancel my H1B yet.

Please help!!
