H1 b visas availle for this year would be only 36000 and 65000.

I think it is a good news. Now those people will get some time to finish pending 485 cases.
Are you saying it to be a bad news, because some one known to you is planning to apply for H1?

To keep the economy alive, some thing like this had to be done. They can not keep giving job to outsiders and let their people not have a job. let us be reasonable guys.
