I did my fingerprinting in New Or leans, LA on 11/14/2000. They had a special machine that looked like a photocopy machine, and they took the whole palm print, and then each finger.
I asked the lady who fingerprinted me about irregularities, and she said that there is no problem if you are missing finger(I). She told me that she had to do someone who had no left arm. She has to put in a code to say that you are missing a finger, and all is good.
I was in and out under 20 minutes, and arrived 30 minutes after the center was ape.
