In a CP case, once the POE is done, the Physical plastic card comes at the US address or one has to go to some INS office for submitting photos/finger-printing,etc and then the physical card comes?
 
No you would be submitting the FPs at the POE. Your pics. will be passed on by the consulate to POE to USCIS.
 
So does this mean that we should carry extra pics or the one showing from the slit of the envelope is enough??
