Once I-140 approved with CP option

Hi,

I want to know once I-140 is approved with CP option, what steps are to be taken. I have following questions.

1. How to track NVS for receiving your I-140 papers. Please mention required tel. number. Also how to track P3 at your consulate?

2. To obtain PCC (New York Consulate), does it required the PCC for my wife? If yes, do I have to fill two forms and pay $20 fee for each. How much time does it take to get clearence?

3. How to obtain Tax transcripts?

4. I have mariage and birth certificates, what else is required for the documentation?

5. If H1 extension is filled but not approved, is there any concern?

6. Best practices followed by CP guys.

Immediatly you need not do anything. However you can apply for PCC.

1.Call NVC 603 334 0700 and enter your case number. You can also speak to operator about the case.
2.Yes. You need to pay $20 for each PCC. It takes about 30 days. Better apply in person so that you can hold your passport with you whill PCC is under process.
3.Walk into any IRS office and you can get req. docs same day.
4.Better have your H1 extension before you go attend interview.
6.Keep your DS230 part1 ready so that you don't waste time while posting P3.

There is no concern when H1 is filled, anyway you do not need that when u file for Packet3. You need it when u go for CP in India.
