I have a friend whoe filed AOS 485/130 to a Permanent Resident. The case is one of those pending security check, over 1.5 years. They already completed interview.
They have received mixed information where if the PR becomes a Citizen, then they need to refile the Adjustment Of Status only via USC all over again, as if it was null and void.
Is this true. The PR should go through the swearing in this summer.
