On L1B from last 5 yrs , was in India for 6 months ,will this count towards 5 years

Iam on L1B Visa from Last 4 yrs and 6 months , and now my L1B expiring .
In the last 4 yrs 6 months with L1B visa I was in India for around 7 months (6months one time and 1 month another time).

Can I apply for extn of 12 months or just 6 months. My main question is will the 7 months of stay in India count towards the 5 yrs period of L1B.
