On EAD, what happens to children?

Let's say 6 year H-1B has been completed and a person and spouse are on EAD (not filed for 7 year extension).

What happens to the dependent H-4 children?

I think there was another thread somewhere... either here or ImVoice, about children who go above 21 at the time of EAD are in trouble... but don't take my word 100% for it.

U need to do nothing for children --if there 485 are pending..
If your spouse is planning not to work then do not apply EAD for Ur spouse too.

The 485 pending approval will maintain the status.

Some guys apply for kids EAD to get Social Security number ... Hmmm by the time they grow up the SS might go bankrupt ... :)
