ombudsman's office replied

well to be precise USCIS has more than 45 days to reply to ombudsman's office about my pending case. They never replied and ombudsman's office just told me to let them know once I get a reply from USCIS.

They are not the only ones

Vice president office, congressman office - all requested a status update - no reply yet.

I started thinking like USCIS might not even have my case files to look at my case.

USCIS Ombudsman is a toothless tiger. He can only file reports to Congress and USCIS can ignore him on most matters. He does not have any executive authority over USCIS.

You should call the ACLU office in NY and see if they plan a class action lik ethe one in San Fransisco
