Old visa - New Emplyoer

Hi,

I was working for company 'A', stamp on my passport expires on FEB 2007. Resigned the company 'A' went to India. Company 'A' cancelled H1B. Company 'B' started H1B and approved. Can I travel on company 'A's stamped visa on passport with company 'B's approval notice, petition?


Your help is greatly appreciated.

No problem at cincinnati

I just came from india i had visa of my previous company which expires on 5th sep 2003 and at the port of entry (cincinnati ) i presented my visa along with the new approval notice I-797 (this is valid till oct 2004 ) of my company where i'm working now.

There was no problem the immigration officer gave me I-94 till Oct 2004 . He didnt ask me anything , except that how long i have been on H1 in US .. that too casually . It was just a matter of 2 minutes and i was done .

So i dont see any issue in travelling with the previous employer visa stamped and with the new approval notice of the current employer . My friend did the same at Atlanta also and didnt have any problem .
