Old Tax Issue & N400

I have been GC holder for 27 years. I have now decided that I want to apply for naturalization. I filed taxes late in the 1990's, owed small amount, paid that off and have filed on time every year since then. Do I disclose on N400 application, and obtain tax transcript for the whole time I have been in the US? Thanks!

I don't know about disclosing it,but I can tell you as far as I know the IRS only gives you tax transcripts for the last 3 fiscal years and the do not keep records that are over 7 years old.

Read the tax questions carefully. You'll see they're only concerned about overdue returns which are still unfiled and/or you still owe taxes related to them. No need to disclose those old late returns, as you have filed them and paid them off long ago.
