Old Firearm Charge

I want to apply for N-400. I have been an LPR since 1966 from UK. I have a Virginia conviction for "Knowingly and intentionally make a false statement on a firearms form 18.2-308.2:2" in 1993 before the 1994 technical corrections act that added attempted to the firearms 1227(a)(2)(C). I had moved and put my old address on the form since I did not update my drivers license at that time. I pleaded guilty and got 40 hours of community service with a statement it was completed. This is the only conviction on my record less traffic citations. The local court stated no records found. FBI records do show this. Should I apply?

Only problem is that you would need that court disposition!! Seeing that it was so long . Local courts keep records for 5-7 years then ship them off to a storage facility. You”re going to have to go through the process of getting that disposition.
Chances are they might not even ask for it, but in the off chance they do you have it. Because they only give you few weeks to come back with the necessary paper work and in your case few weeks might not be enough time.

I had firearm charges that were dismissed 10 years prior and was still asked for the dispostion. Lukily i did my research and got copies
