Old EB3 or new perm EB2???

Here's my dilemma:
My employer filed EB3-TR (non-RIR) application in massachusetts in 12/03.

My current employer (knowing I can't leave) has been taking me for granted and I want out. But I obviously don't want to jeapordize my green-card.

One option is to find an employer who'll file Perm EB2 for me.

So which of the following is better:

1. EB3-TR with PD of 12/03
2. Perm EB2 with PD of say 11/06

I understand that ultimately I have to make the decision. But I just want to input from the collective wisdom of people. Please share the pros and cons of both from your point of view.

Regards,
Gravity

Here's how I see it: What do you think?

Option 1. Sticking with EB3-TR with PD of 12/03
Pros: Retrogression may be largely healed due to Immigration Reforms Bills being passed.
Cons: EB3 may retgrogress further and it may take 4-5 years.
Continued corporate slavery at the current workplace from hell.

Option 2. Perm EB2 with PD of say 11/06
Pros: May get green-card much sooner.
cons: Well, EB-2 could retrogress as well.
