My case RD was mar. 01, got approved a week ago, but my spouse did not get approval notice, I thought to do fax inquiry althought it is not beyond JIT time, but worry it will annoy the officer and initiate interview, my spouse did not have bad history in this country. what should I do? do fax inquiry now? or wait, until when, it could be another half for INS to change the JIT from current 01/01/01 to sth. else. Does that mean I have to wait for another half year for even fax inquiry?

Did you talk to an IIO?

I think usually INS approves the family together (ofcourse there are exceptions). Ask the IIO why your spouse\'s case is still pending, when yours\' has got approved.
The IIO might suggest sending a fax.

it has been very frustrating talking to IIO.

My spouse did talk to them, she said still pending, sometimes it happens, for whatever reason etc. My only concern is whether will annoy the them and generate RFE or interview if I send fax before the JIT time (which is nonsense).
