Old AP/Renewal AP and Travel out of USA

Hi All,

My AP is valid till July 2005.I am planning to send in for AP renewal.What will happen if I plan to go out of USA on old AP (before its expiration) .Will this affect the new AP -will they consider it to be abandoned?

You do not need to worry

As long as you come back before the expiration date on the existing AP, you will be fine. The AP renewing process is a totally different case. No need to worry about it
