Old and New Passports -Regarding PCC

Hi,
My wife recently got a PCC( Police Clearance Certificate) and a PCC Stamp in her Passport.

I am thinking wether to get her Last Name changed on her Passport.(This means, they will Issue a fresh/new PP?)

If she does apply for a Name change , When She Gets a new PP, will they Stamp the New PP with the PCC seal or will they give us back the OLD PASSPORT TOO?

Any leads will be greatly appreciated!

You Will get your old passport back....

I had similar types of case.

When you get a new passport you get your Old Passport back

that has been cancelled. technically you are supposed to carry your old passports too when you travel. I have my old passports stampled to my new passport.

I believe, for name change they don\'t issue a new passport. Simply they will endorse new name on your exsisting passport.

They do issue new passport for name change, however the old passport is returned back with new
