old affidavits for non availability of birth certificate

Hi,

My parents obtained affidavits from elder relatives last year dated Feb 2011. Can I submit those affidavits as part of the I-485 for green card application this year? Will there be an issue since the affidavits are more than a year old?

make sure you get a- Non Availability Of Birth Certificate-(It is a special form) Fome the local municipal office. send it along with the affidavits.

Did you get an RFE for this ? I am about to submit and only have one affidavit/original wedding invite. I dont have a NAMC non availability of marriage certificate..
