OK to postpone FP?

Hi,
Is it okay to postpone FP? My husband is scheduled to take one within the next 2 weeks, but we haven\'t applied for my 485 yet. Will postponing his FP be an issue?

he Applied before the marriage

Ric,
My husband had applied for 485 before we got married.
We\'re getting ready to send my application(in a week or 2).
But he is supposed to take his FP on the 29th of this month.

He can go as per his schedule.
You can file your application when ever you like, but before his approval.( Atleast 1 day in advance).
There is no effect/problem/link on his 485. Both cases are separate and processed separately.
except Your application needs to fulfill the above condition.
I think after his FP, Approval will take atleast 2 to 3 months. Now VSC is processing only Feb 2000 cases.
