With the intention to rope in the OIC population for medical care delivery in India, the Govt had announced clear intentions to allow OICs to practice medicine in India.
With the passing of the OIC bill (amend Indian Medical Council act, 2013) as an Presidential Ordinance on the 23rd May 2013, I would need clarification regarding-
- Can an OIC with a basic medical degree fully registered with the Medical Council of India and having a foreign postgraduate degree (from France/Italy or Russia) now work as a specialist in his PG specialty in India at a particular institutuion (with the due restrictions, if any)??
