Ok, I am losing it. Why is it so complicated? Help please.

I am so confused. I have been trying to figure it out on my own but I am finally stuck and frustrated.

Simple question – I sent all of my paperwork (married to a US Citizen) to a PO Box in Chicago. I live in Atlanta.

Will it go back to Atlanta?
Texas?
South Pole?
What happens next?
Where is shipped?

How do I know where to look? I don’t have a receipt number even though it has been over a month since we filed….
