Officers and LC

What is the process for getting a green card for an officer of a company (for example, Vice President). This is in a non multi-national scenario.
Is the same process of LC, I140, I485 followed or is there some other process recommended by the USCIS or DOL. Does the officer of a company need labor certification?
Any information on this will be appreciated.

No, executives don't need to apply for labor certification. They filed under the EB1 category and hence can skip the labor certification step.

I don't see how. The EB-1 is for MULTINATIONAL Executives and Managers. The employment oversees would need to have been with the same employer, a subsidiary or an affiliate.

The problem with the LC may be convincing DOL that there really is a position available to a US worker, particularly if the alien has any ownership in the corporation, is related to an owner, or if the corporation is small.
