Officer quit!! are we doomed ????

I just talked to a rep at TSC. She says the officer working on our cases is no longer in that dept (he probably quit) and our cases are still waiting to be assinged to another officer. She doesn't know how long it's going to take to assign it to another officer. All she can tell me is to be PATIENT!! :mad:
 
I called the 800 number for National customer service. I chose the option which says some thing like "... if your case is outside our processing times and there is no update in the last 60 days ... ". For whatever reason, I got routed to TSC.
 
If we set infopass appointment and talk to local officer, could we get to know the case status details such as who is handling our case?

I tried the info pass in November 2004, but didn't get anything other than that I have to wait.

My I485 ND is also 9/17/02. Even no 1st FP. I went to local office and the officer just said "sorry, it's not our case, you need to ask TSC. Sorry we cannot do anything!" That's all.
