my brother is finishing grad school, and this company is willing to give free training and sponsor visa.

does anyone know about this company?

does anyone knows about a list of good companies which sponsor visa??

thanks for your help.

I don't know about this particular company but most of such companies which give free training and job placements are crookes, by the very nature of this business.
I would very strongly recommend that you ask around and ask your brother to join a companly ONLY after you get a good reference about that company.
I know a few reasonable ones (there are no good ones in this field).
If you're interested, leave me a private message and I'll try to help you out.
And, yes, I stand to gain absolutely nothing by helping your brother.

thanks for your interest....but why do you think they are crooks??

they are willing to bet few thousand dollars by providing free training....free accomodation till you get projects.....and just one year binding contract....

pay is not bad....its around $25-30 in the first year....

i will send you a PM shortly about other leads....thanks again.

In general, the desi shops...small/medium time ones...tend to have bad attitude. But, as you mention, free training, filing for H1, 1 yr contract...for ~50-60k seems reasonable.
I can recommend a co. based in Dayton,OH...probably a similar deal...the reason I can recommend (though I'm not employed thru them) is that I have met the guy who runs the show & also some employees...overall, he seems to take good care of them...especially, providing continuous training & insisiting on certification.
Check out few & then decide accordingly.
Goodluck.

usually at such places trainings were done by consultants wotking for them. These consultants try to do trainins over the weekend or evening as an additional income.

There are reasons behind bad perceptions about desi companies as stated earlier in this thread. There is a big line separating promises and delivery by those bad companies.

One of my brother's documents retained by the desi consulting company while in India and didn't even send to US even after a year. He sent a lawyer notice to get those documents.

My manager threatened me that he will not issue an experiance letter if I leave the company (I offered to leave after completing the project in hand in 1 week time..)

There are good companies (I think, Yash) which paid bench and took care of another brother of mine.

Its best to enquire with the current/past employees or some one closely assoicated with the company before any commitments (like certificates, post dated checks, bonds .....).
