Hi Guys,
Sorry for the off topic post, I'm wondering if anyone here might have some ideas about this.
I received my Green card 3 months ago.. Got a SS #. Right after that I applied for an American Express and was approved (because I have a Canadian AMEX they were able to base my account on my Canadian Credit). They gave me a limit of $2700 for starters. So far I paid two bills in full on time and third one is coming up.
I am moving to California and would like to buy a car, problem is I'm sure they won't finance me because my credit history is so short. Does anyone have any ideas what the quickest route to getting a car loan would be, or better yet have some personal experience in this matter?
Does any Canadian know if there is anyway to use Canadian credit to apply for a US loan?
MY wife never had credit cards so she has no credit history either I suppose (she's only paid utility bills and the like.)
Thanks, Chaim
