Off topic? High school equivalent in the US?

Hello,

Maybe this is off topic but I am in a maze and used to have straight replies here. Is the high school (required for dv applicants education) equivalent to US high school? or GED? Being said that, can one apply for jobs in the US that require high school certificate using his foreign high school? Any link that can help?

The standard needed for the DV process is an education equivilent to a US high school completion - the point of entrance to a US college/university.

You can apply for jobs with a foreign education - yes.
