My RD is Oct 09, 2001 and my FP is done on 09/06/2002 (after 11 months). I am not sure what it got delayed but finally got it done.

gcwaiting-2001 did u call INS to get ur FP?
Or did they finally decide to send your FP ? I am just asking this because there are pockets of people missing their FP notices lately. This will give us hope that "one day it will come!!"

Here is what has happened with my FP
I did not care until I found that couple of my friends with Nov RD did get their FP notice Feb.
So I called INS in Feb, they said it takes 8-9 months and have been told to wait. I called my lawyer she called also and same answer.
I talked again in Apr and they say if you don't receive FP next 4-6 weeks the call us back. No more specifics other than this.
Later, in June my lawyer got a letter from INS asking to pay additional fees for FP. I am not sure why additional Fees or may be my lawyer forgot to pay fees for FP when 485 was filed. I am not sure and I did not want make a big deal out of it and we just paid the whatever amount asked.
I called again in July they said we receive your fee and you should be scheduled soon thru Computer or you may be scheduled manually by office but later he confirmed I am in the wait list for Computer and as soon as Computer will find a spot I will receive a Notice and I did receive Notice in July End with the appointment date was 6th Sept.
