October 15th case approved

My friends brother-in-law got his October 15th 2001 case approved. No this is not an age-out case but a regular EB2 case.

I dont have any further details and will not be able to get any.

For the sceptics, take this information for what it is worth, but I can assure you this is absolutely 100% true.

I would like to see atleast one regular member approved before I conclude that the freeze is over.
 
Some info regarding I485 status..

I am a 11/20/01 RD 12/12/01 ND case - simple case. Last evening I spoke to my corporate attorney (very big and reputed) regarding the freeze and wanted to know exactly what is going on. I was again assured that there is no freeze but the process has become very slow. I was told that had there been an official freeze, my atttorney would have informed me.

My EAD and AP got approved within a month - so INS is working.

Either your attorney is Tom Ridge or you and your attorney both just came out of hibernation.

Check out postings from people that have spent a great deal of their time checking into this issue. Check username JIGESH threads.

The level of scrutiny for EAD and AP is minimal compared to a 485 application.

My attorney said the same

She said that they are seeing some approvals but a very slow pace. I got an rfe and she said once I reply to the same there should be an issue and I can expect something as soon as I reply to the rfe.

i spoke to my lawyer today morning for renewal of my travel document. while talking over the phone, he mentioned that they did recieve atleast one approval(I-485) RD:09/26 last week only. further he did'nt share any further info. as it's personal to someone. i'm posting what i heard from my attorney's office. So pl. don't question the authintication of this information. i hope this is true and we all sept/oct/nov. filers see our approvals coming soon.
