I just rcvd. e-mail that my I140 has been approved , no updates on I485 though...

You are the first guy to see a 140 approval IN 2005 and wish you 485 approval also.

I am still sweating. GOT AN RFE FOR SECOND AP.

Still 140 and 485 pending.

Congrats...

You are a candidate for retrogression if you belong to India, China or Phillipines. So if that is the case you should not 485 approval quickly ( I hope I am wrong though, wish the best for you).

If you see approval and you belong to these countries it would mean that TSC is yet to implement the retrogression which is great for many people here.

Please review my EB3 PD/ND/FP dates for all applications and let me know the impact of EB3 retrogression on my case.

You don't seem to be affected by retrogression based on the december visa bulletin from DOS. As per that bulletin all EB3 cases with PD Jan 1, 2002 and after will be retrogressed. So you are OK for now.
