Talked to an IIO officer today and I called to check the status of our EAD renewal. After talking about our EAD I checked on our 475 status ...

My RD is Oct 17th and he says, there is a back log on 485 cases and will take another 2 - 3 months. !!!?????********

EAD
My wife got approved
and I mine has resulted in RFE

Totally freaked!

Any thoughts
 
Backlog on 485?

When did that happen?:D

Dude when have they not had a backlog?

The IIOs are just messing with you people.

Try not to call if your RD isnt 2-3 months prior to the one's currently being approved.

Hope the August people get approved soon (RealCan ;) )
 
EAD renewal

Applied on September 15th.

Is it common for the primary applicant to get an RFE and the dependent to get an approval.

I am happy that my wife case got approved. But concerned and curious to know ...

I was under the opion that once VSC audit ended, there would be a whole host of approvals - i.e. assuming they worked on cases during the audit, as they were supposed to have. Guess not....... Oh well....... the waiting game continues....

I got my EAD approval toady. Was filed on sep 22nd. Took about 3 weeks. Lucky there. But not with 485. Still says on feb6 blah blah case resumed blah blah.

I know I was complaining earlier....but I just checked the status check....and my EAD renewal was approved....card ordered. Still waiting for AOS approval RD Oct 29th.
