Oct approvals will start in Dec

At current rate of approval, Aug might take another 2 months easily. Add One more month for sep then we can expect Oct approvals full fledgedly in Dec.
Had VSC been an privately owned organization, irate customers would have closed it down by now.
May be after GC I will work from them as database admin or programmer or something( NO work, free money, can't beat that).

Consider the following facts :

(1) 4 weeks of Audit delay during last two weeks of Sept and first two weeks of Oct.

(2) From Thanksgiving to New Year - Holiday delay

(3) Delay owing to the fact that expert officers will be busy training new recruits

(4) As they are generating around RFEs for 40% of cases, they are burdening themselves with more and more work

In that way, Oct cases may start sometime in Jan.2003.

I think your October 2001 will take atleast one more year because you are an October Filler. So anything can happen.

You are killing me with this post. I couldn't eat my breakfast today.

My I-140 took almost a year. They brought down the I140 processin time from 1 year to 2 months within a month.

Anything is possible with INS. Let's hope good sense prevails on them.

ShantanuB, what about your earlier prediction about Doomsday .. priority dates will retrogress. Have you taken it back. Don't you now think that October cases would be on hold, as you had said earlier ????
 
What about my prediction of mass RFE and interview?

So ppl, you see its happening. Now you can curse me as much as possible but you cant ignore the reality.

Why you think INS sending mass rfe for Baltimore and Dc area? Bcz lots of laid off and job cut in technology field in that region lately. INS is playing smart.

So start bashing me, no problem. But you cant ignore the reality.

Its coming all the high tech area too...


For all those jerks who were bashing me, answere the logic of baltimore/DC mass RFE... Insted of bashing me, be topic oriented and argue with logic.
 
My predictions about dates retrogessing were based on the fact that if all July/Aug cases are approved in time EB3 quota would be used up. But it didn't happen because of slow working of INS.
Anyway, I am just giving a estimate on when Oct cases would be touched. Leaving aside wishful thinkers, take the facts into consideration. Aug will take atleast 2 months and Sept would take atleast 1 month. count 1/2 more month for cases of JUly(there are still some cases left) Oct can only start in Dec. Now with INS closure for auditing, holiday season etc. That might well slip to Jan03!!!!.
BTW, I don't wish this to happen, I wish it to happen tomorrow.
