Please Help! The avm says "On 04/25/2001 Reply... it takes 365 to 540 days to process this kind of case. However, as preliminary processing is done it will take 180 days". Is this normal or some problem with the case.

Did you get any RFE lately and responded to it? If so it is very common and you will get your approval soon provided your PD is current.

If NOT, I saw few postings for the past two days they found messages like yours though they never get a RFE, that could be a computer glitch in their system.

sent by INS?

Yes. RFE received on 04/09 and reply sent on 04/16,reply received by ins on 04/25/2001. EB2 , PD 03/98 current. Do I have to wait for six more months?

My case was approved on Apr 20, the same day INS received the add. info on RFE and the AVM changed to what you hear for your case.
It should be almost immediate for you too(definitely lot less than 180 days).
However the AVM changed to \'case approved\' only on April 24.
