Is it updated on the website

Rfellow

Congrats!!!

Has it been updated on the BCIS web-site that it's approved the reason why I am asking is lately there are some cases were the web-site is NOT updated but people seems to have gotten it by mail.

I do not know the EAC number. MY company's policy not to disclose the same. SO could not check online. Attorneys received today approval copy and they informed me.

I am hearing that first time....company having policies not to disclose EAC number even to the employee to whom it belongs...
congrats for remaining processes!!

Its possible

Magician don't be so shocked. He must be working for MNC that's why. The place where you work (shoprite) may be giving you all the relevant documents.

Its quite possible

Indian_In_USA,

My job is better compared to yours as you have to sweep the floor and other janitorial stuff in Vermont (right pal?)....
and yeah, you talk "American English" as well in the filthy restroom

No EAC Number

Rfellow,

All I have to tell you is know your rights and act accordingly. INS has provided online case status facility so that each applicant is aware of his/her status at any given time. It does know disclose any other personal/company info.

I was given to understand that 140 is a company document whereas 485 is employee's document. So they did not disclose any details excepting that it was filed on so and so date and it is approved on such and such date. Hope this clarifies.

This is one more royal lie fed by employers. Labor belongs to the company. They can give it any one they like. But as for as I-140 concerned it is filed from the company for a person. It is like purchase deal having buyer and seller. Both of them have equal right. Employer files it in my name. They may not want share the information of company. Even my company did not share any information but they provided me with copy of receipt.

Holding receipt is common practice irrespective of company size. All these are different ways to screw the employees.

N.B: Whatever we discus here do not go personal. We will loose important issue/points in throwing the mud on each other.
