Hi,

I have received my EAD and AP. But I have not heard anything about my FP yet? Do you people think this is strange?

I also know a friend of mine, who has got his FP done: but has not received his EAD or AP?

Is there some kind of consistency that would tell me whats happening?

Also: does online checking gives out specific information about the case???
 
INS Follows Inconsistency... Very Strictly

I applied for concurrent 140/485 for myself and wife on Oct 25 '02. I got my finger printing (FP) notice in a few weeks after application and in two month i got my FP done. Havent heard anything about wife FP yet. Lawyers say INS outsources FP notice/scheduling to an outside company (which seems to be using a random number generator to pick people).

I still havent received EAD/AP, called the lawyers and asked that Vermont is currently processing Jan/Feb '03, and what about my app which was sent 4 months ago. Lawyer called INS and got back to me, response: Hickup in the system, INS will get to it and will process it in 30 days.

So, expect INS to always be inconsistent.
